STU was started in 2000 by its owner, Steve Nickel, after a lifetime of
traveling to sporting events around the country.
During the Spring of 2000, I decided to start this company because I
believed that the Ravens were going to make the playoffs, and had to be
part of the action. We started out that year with a full slate of road
trips and home game tickets, and eventually attended every game through
the Ravens' victory in Super Bowl XXXV. Perfect timing, and what a year!
After that season, I knew that I had made the right call - this was way
too much fun to turn back.
STU has since expanded into a full ticket and trip planning service
company. We still offer our trademark Ravens Road trips, and have
expanded into all other sports markets and ticket markets. No matter
what your needs for any event, STU has your ticket to the game.
With STU, you will always receive the service and fairness that each
customer deserves. We know that you have many options for your tickets
and travel needs, and our service is what sets us apart.
For local sports, STU maintains a large, in-house inventory for tickets
to the Ravens, Orioles, Wizards, and Terps. These tickets can be
purchased on our web site or by calling STU.
STU features a nationwide ticket inventory that can get you seats to any
event in the country. Through this capability, we can locate tickets for
your choice of events and venues. Whether it is a sporting event,
concert, or Broadway event, we have the tickets you need to get to the
game.
Since the Ravens champioinship year, the inaugural year for STU, we have
continued to follow the Ravens. This year, we again host Ravens' road
trips throughout the regular season and playoffs.
We provide quality trips that are packed with value. We do not look for
the cheapest way to go, but rather for one that is most worth the money.
We are all about getting value and showing fans a good time.
On each trip, we host our signature STU FanFest. Drinks and
appetizers are provided, and fans get a chance to meet and talk Ravens
football.
In addition to our popular Ravens trips, STU has planned group and
private trips to many other types of events, including the Baltimore
Orioles, Maryland Terrapins (football and basketball), Washington
Wizards, Olympic Games, World Series, Super Bowl, and NCAA (regular
season and bolw/tournaments).
STU specializes in making your game experience something special. We can
arrange all necessary accommodations for home and away games. We can
arrange for travel, hotel, bus trips, tailgate parties, and other
activities for the sports game of your choice.
