STU was started in 2000 by its owner, Steve Nickel, after a lifetime of traveling to sporting events around the country.

During the Spring of 2000, I decided to start this company because I believed that the Ravens were going to make the playoffs, and had to be part of the action. We started out that year with a full slate of road trips and home game tickets, and eventually attended every game through the Ravens' victory in Super Bowl XXXV. Perfect timing, and what a year! After that season, I knew that I had made the right call - this was way too much fun to turn back.
